In this session, we discussed a profoundly transformative experience I had in Japan, which led to significant personal insights and spiritual growth. The experience at the temple helped me feel instantly grounded and coincided with feelings of deep spiritual connection and enlightenment, despite the cultural and religious differences.

We talked about how this experience catalyzed a shift in my perspective, emphasizing the need to raise my personal and professional standards. This revelation has prompted changes in my coaching strategies and the criteria for choosing the people I want to work with, focusing on individuals who are as driven and committed to personal growth as me.

A significant part of our discussion revolved around handling life’s unpredictabilities, especially concerning your family. You shared about your mother’s health issues and your son’s unexpected travel delays, highlighting how these incidents made you reflect on your readiness and resilience in the face of unforeseen challenges. Furthermore, these situations emphasized the importance of gratitude and finding deeper meaning in life’s disruptions.

We also delved into your self-perceptions and professional identity. Many times throughout our conversation, you questioned your qualifications and the high regard others hold for you in your professional community. We discussed the necessity of embracing your role as a leader and influencer, even when you feel out of place. This involves recognizing and owning your past achievements and current capabilities, which are often much more significant than you give yourself credit for.

Homework for this session involves journaling about your recent experiences and their emotional impacts on you, focusing particularly on feelings of delay and disruption which seem to be recurring themes. Through journaling, aim to explore how these situations are molding you for future challenges and leadership opportunities, and reflect on your feelings towards independence and self-validation in your professional journey.

Remember, the key takeaway is to trust that you are exactly where you need to be, and to use meditation not just for centering yourself, but as a tool to delve deeper into understanding who you are and embracing that fully.
